Ghanaian Dancehall star Stonebwoy has released a new single titled “Ariba,” which features South African hitmaker Focalistic. The new track is a fusion of sounds which include Amapiano, Afro-pop, and Dancehall. Equally creative with classic yet retro and colorful fashion, the music video was shot in Accra, Ghana, and directed by award-winning Ghanaian director REX.
The 2021 summer Afrobeats hit, “Putuu Freestyle (Pray)” (Remix) by Stonebwoy feat. Rémy Adan and collaborations and exploration of new musical sounds like Amapiano and Afro-pop mixed with Pidgin English, English, and French lyrics in songs such as, “Searching for My Love” (Remix) by Chip Charlez, Stonebwoy & ND may be an indication of what to expect from Stonebwoy’s highly anticipated album.
Spotted in various studios across the U.S, Stonebwoy continues to fuel speculation of a third album release. A new sound can be expected with months spent in studios across the U.S and a recent U.K tour.
